Modern studio with excellent transport links

Should have paid extra and stayed in a hotel. Positive: I like that it was located right behind the 22 Tram which was very convenient to get to downtown and Old Town. I like that there is a washer and dryer Negative: The bed was hard and lumpy and very uncomfortable. The couch was also very uncomfortable. The curtains were a fire hazard as they are a plastic material and hang over and cover the heater. The property manager even admitted it might be a fire hazard and asked me to tuck the curtains behind the first set of window panes if I wanted to use the heater. Maybe they should get shorter curtains. They have a washer and dryer on site but the washer and dryer is not septic I serviced or cleaned by the staff and property manager. The property manager said it’s up to every guest to empty out the condensation tank. As an American I had no idea what that was and had to Google the issue with the machine and had to dump out the heavy tank in my shower. My shower didn’t drain correctly either. There was always water in the drain pipe so I couldn’t take long showers or wash my hair because the shower pan would over flow on to the floor since the shower pan was not deep. The sink gurgled if the toilet was flushed and the pipes behind the cabinet would rattle. When other units in the building used the water you can hear it in your unit because the pipes would rattle. The heater was controlled by some sort of timer so it would turn off in the middle of the night and in the early morning and the apartment would get really cold for hours. This timer control thing was confirmed by the property manager. I reached out and told her I was very cold and was informed that the radiator has an hdo system (whatever that is) which cuts off the heat during certain times of the day. I asked what those times were when the heat was cut off and I didn’t receive a response…however, the heat was never cut off again. So they definitely control it.
